Arabikicha is first flush, high grade kabuse sencha (shaded green tea) powder. The leaves undergo a special roasting process that produces tea with the sweetness and umami of matcha or gyokuro while maintaining the refreshing, balanced, traditional flavors of sencha. Like matcha, the entire leaf is consumed, so you benefit from more essential minerals that you would by having a cup of brewed loose leaf tea.
